Allerton Lodge is based at Castle Grove Masonic Hall, Moor Road, Headingley, Leeds. LS6 4BP and meets on the third Monday of each month from September to June.
Our Lodge meetings are comprised of two parts;-
We hold a formal meeting usually beginning at 6.30pm where the business of the lodge is transacted, this may include a ceremony or a guest speaker and would normally be completed within two hours.
In the Second part we sit down together and enjoy a three course meal, all members are encouraged to take part in the “Festive Board” however it is by no means compulsory. It is however the perfect opportunity to meet with the other members and by so doing gain the opportunity to learn more about freemasonry.
Practice Lodges are held every Monday except for the third Monday and usually begin at 7.30pm, the format is slightly different in that we do not sit down to have a meal together, instead the normal practice is to retire to the Bar for a social drink.
Freemasonry however is not all work and the lodge has several Social events where we involve our Wives and Partners, Ladies Night; After Lodge Socials, Golf Competition and Dinner; Snooker Competition and a Sunday Lunch to mention but a few.

The Worshipful Master, Officers and Brethren of Allerton Lodge No 3047, in the Province of Yorkshire West Riding, welcome you to our website.
Within these pages we hope to introduce you to Freemasonry and will try to answer as many questions as possible including how to become a Freemason.
However if after reading the information contained within these pages and feel that you would like to know more about Freemasonry or Allerton Lodge in particular, we are available most Monday evenings at our home within Castle Grove Masonic Hall, where you may meet us and discuss anything you may wish to know, in a friendly atmosphere over a drink at the bar.
